Syro Malabar Youth Movement-Kuwait (SMYM KUWAIT), the youth wing of SMCA, was inaugurated on 1st January 2015 by Bishop of Bijnor, Mar John Vadakkel. “Youth for the Family, the Church and the society” is the slogan of SMYM. Functioning as the branch of Global SMYM, the official Youth association of the Syro Malabar Church, it uses the logo, flag and anthem of SMYM Global in Kuwait and implements the programs of SMYM global in Kuwait with necessary modifications to suite situations in Kuwait.

SMYM Kuwait has an independent bylaw, passed by the general body of SMCA and is published as an annexure of SMCA Bylaws. SMCA members below 38 years are the membership of SMYM too. It follows a three layer administrative system –zonal, area and central. The election commission and auditors selected by SMCA general body serves at the same capacity for SMYM also. SMYM president, SMYM Area Conveners and SMYM Zonal Coordinators, as the head of their respective level becomes the members of the SMCA committees at the same level, automatically. The main office bearers of SMCA at each level acts as ex-officio members of SMYM committee at the respective level. This ensures hand in hand operation of both SMYM and SMCA.

SMCAയുടെ യുവജനവിഭാഗമായ സിറോ മലബാർ യൂത്ത് മൂവ്മെന്റ്-കുവൈറ്റ് (SMYM കുവൈറ്റ്) ജനുവരി ഒന്നാം തീയതി അഭിവന്ദ്യ ബിജ്‌നോർ ബിഷപ് മാർ ജോൺ വടക്കേൽ ഉൽഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. "യുവജനങ്ങൾ കുടുംബത്തിനും സഭക്കും സമൂഹത്തിനും" എന്നതാണ് SMYM മുദ്രാവാക്യം. സീറോ മലബാർ സഭയുടെ യുവജന സംഘടനയായ SMYM ഗ്ലോബലിന്റെ കുവൈറ്റിലെ ശാഖ എന്ന നിലയിൽ SMYM ഗ്ലോബലിന്റെ ലോഗോ, പതാക, സംഘടനാ ഗാനം എന്നിവ ഉപയോഗിക്കുകയും, പ്രവർത്തങ്ങളും പരിപാടികളും കുവൈറ്റിലെ പരിതസ്ഥിതിക്ക് അനുയോജ്യമായ വിധത്തിൽ സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

SMCA യുടെ പൊതുയോഗം അംഗീകരിച്ച സ്വതന്ത്രമായ ഒരു ഭരണഘടന അനുസരിച്ചാണ് SMYM കുവൈറ്റ് പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നത്. ഇത് SMCA നിയമാവലിക്ക് ഒരു അനുബന്ധമായി പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. 38വയസ്സിൽ താഴെ പ്രായമുള്ള എല്ലാ SMCA അംഗങ്ങളും സ്വാഭാവികമായും SMYMന്റെ അംഗങ്ങൾകൂടി ആയിത്തീരുന്നു. നിയമാവലിയനുസരിച്ചു തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെടുന്ന കേന്ദ്ര, ഏരിയ, സോണൽ ത്രിതല ഭരണ സംവിധാനം ആണ് SMYM കുവൈറ്റ് പിഞ്ചൊല്ലുന്നത്. SMCAയുടെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് കമ്മിഷനും ഓഡിറ്റർമാരും SMYMനു വേണ്ടിയും ആ ചുമതലകൾ നിർവഹിക്കുന്നു. SMYM പ്രസിഡന്റ്, ഏരിയ കൺവീനർ, സോണൽ കോഓർഡിനേറ്റർ എന്നിവർ അതാതു തലത്തിലുള്ള SMCA ഭരണസമിതികളിൽ അംഗങ്ങളായിത്തീരുന്നു. ഓരോ തലത്തിലുമുള്ള SMCAയുടെ മുഖ്യഭാരവാഹികൾ അതാത് SMYM ഭരണസമിതികളിൽ 'എക്സ് ഒഫീഷിയോ' അംഗങ്ങളാവുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. അങ്ങനെ മാതൃസംഘടനായ SMCAയോട് കൈകൾകോർത്ത് SMYM പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നു.
